Atria El Camino Gardens To Honor Memorial Day
CARMICHAEL, CA (MPG) - On May 26th, Atria El Camino Gardens will honor their 72 veterans and those fallen in observance of Memorial Day.
In an effort to recognize the veterans’ sacrifices and service to our country, the local senior living community will host at wonderful event featuring the community choir known as the Atria Singers, recognition of family members and those close to the residents that gave their lives for our country and a special planting of a maple tree in honor of those fallen with the opportunity for each resident who has lost someone to participate in filling in the dirt for the tree.
“We look forward to acknowledging the experiences of our veterans in this way,” said Staci Weisz, Engage Life Director at Atria El Camino Gardens. “We are honored to share this special time with those who sacrificed to ensure the freedom we have today.”
