Natomas, CA (MPG) - For the fifth consecutive year, Lyon Real Estate has turned its Natomas office into a collection point for new and reusable coats in reasonably good condition during the month of October.

Last October, local residents donated a total of 50 coats through the 2014 Lyon Coat Drive, part of several charitable efforts undertaken by the Lyon Cares Foundation. Throughout the Greater Sacramento area, Lyon Real Estate collected and donated a total of 4,487 coats last year from its 17 offices.

This year, the Natomas office plans to donate coats to the Mustard Seed School. The Mustard Seed School partners with local nonprofit agencies and organizations to help bring education and support to children of families in need.

“We are grateful to have such a compassionate organization in our midst,” said Office Manager Susan Pierce. “Our goal with this Coat Drive is to raise awareness and generate substantial donations to help our local community.”
