Christ Community Church is hosting “SPLAT Experience” on Sunday, September 11th, in three worship services starting at 9:00 am, 10:45 am and 5:00 pm. SPLAT is a creative art and worship experience in which the artist, Mark Eckel, paints a picture during the service. Eckel’s ministry has blessed countless thousands around the country, and he particularly loves coming to Carmichael to share his gifts.

Eckel has been coming to Christ Community for 8 years as part of its Fall kick-off to the year. This year’s theme is entitled: “Jesus Loves Me.” He is an Emmy nominated artist and is most notably known for his “Above All” painting, which was featured when he went on a nationwide tour with “Casting Crowns.”

“We love having Mark come and share his paintings with us. People are blessed because they experience worship in a unique way that helps them to understand and feel the message of Jesus the way Mark does. I love it when people who have never experienced SPLAT come and see Jesus in a new way.” – Greg Alderman, Sr. Pastor

All services include childcare and Sunday School through 5th grade. Middle School and High School students are encouraged to attend the service with their families.

The 5:00 pm service includes a time of fellowship and food immediately following the conclusion of the service. Tri-Tip sandwiches will be served for $6 a person.

Come early to get a good seat! A full crowd is expected for each service. Christ Community is located at 5025 Manzanita Ave in Carmichael.
