Apr 08, 2021 12:00AM ● By News for Twin Rivers Unified School District

MCCLELLAN, CA (MPG) – The Twin Rivers school community is jumping with joy expecting PK-12th grade students after spring break returning for in-person teaching (hybrid schedule) and learning as of Tuesday, April 6. The District has worked diligently to ensure a safe return to classrooms. In following all public health protocols, face masks and social distancing will be a common sight throughout TR schools and offices.

While nearly 14,600 students are expected to be returning for in-person teaching and learning, approximately 9,700 Twin Rivers Unified School District students will continue with distance learning.

At all schools children are to be arriving for classes following all District and public health protocols, including wearing masks, social distancing, and safety protocols in and outside the classroom. District schools have recommended a social distancing of 6 feet to 3 feet for students.

School buses are also picking up and transporting students to school following all public health protocols as well.

The District will continue to amend school plans as the COVID-19 guidance changes into the year. While Sacramento County still remains in Red Tier (2) as of April 5th, Twin Rivers Unified School District schools conditions are ready for the much anticipated return.
