FAIR OAKS, CA (MPG) - Join the Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District for the 16th Annual "Re-Imagined" Fair Oaks Chicken Festival! This year’s event will look a little different than previous years but still hold true to our Chicken Festival roots. The main festival will take place in-person at Fair Oaks Park and there will also be a variety of event festivities available online for those who would like to participate virtually! General admission and parking are free! 

An eclectic variety of craft will be showcased by vendors at this year’s Chicken Festival including painting, photography, glassworks, jewelry, woodcarvings, candles, lotions, clothing, and much more. The main stage will be featuring live bands throughout the day (Mullet Mechanix & FBI Band). The Fair Oaks Chicken Festival will include a kid’s park with kid friendly carnival games, and activities for the entire family! The Fair Oaks Rotary Foundation will be providing Craft Brew Booth represented by local breweries in the Northern California region. Domestic beer, wine, and several food vendors will be offering a wide range of food and drink in our “Feed Court” sponsored by SactoMoFo. The Orangevale-Fair Oaks Kiwanis Club will host the 7th annual Cluck n’ Crow contest and the Fair Oaks Recreation & Park District is happy to once again host the GREAT Chicken contest (wooden chicken decorating).  All new this year will be the Cornhole Tournament!

The District will also be offering VIP experiences for perks like preferred parking, event merch and food/drink tickets and more!  Also don’t forget our Pancake Breakfast Saturday morning at the Fair Oaks/Orangevale Grange, presented by the Fair Oaks/Orangevale Grange #354.
