Probation Officers Endorse Pat Hume for Sacramento County Supervisor

Jan 17, 2022 12:00AM ● By Sacramento County Probation Association Press Release

ELK GROVE, CA (MPG) - The Sacramento County Probation Association (SCDSA) endorsed Pat Hume for Sacramento County Board of Supervisors in District 5. Current Supervisor Don Notolli is not running for re-election.

“Pat Hume has a long and consistent record of standing up for crime victims and ensuring public safety officers have the resources to do a difficult job,” said Greg Stuber, President of Sacramento County Probation.  “He’s earned our support.”

“It is an honor to earn the endorsement of the Sacramento County Probation Association,” said Hume. “Probation officers are the unsung heroes of our public safety system. They are the ones getting repeat offenders and illegal guns off our streets.”

Hume has also been endorsed by the State Coalition of Probation Organizations.

Pat Hume was elected to the Elk Grove City Council in 2006, and overwhelmingly re-elected three times, most recently in 2018 when he earned nearly 60% of the vote.  District 5 includes the cities of Elk Grove, Galt and Isleton, and Rancho Cordova, and the unincorporated communities of Rosemont, Wilton, and the Delta.
