SACRAMENTO REGION, CA (MPG) - On January 18, 2022, at approximately 5:18 AM, North Sacramento CHP Area units were dispatched to a call of a traffic collision that occurred on the West El Camino Avenue on-ramp to I-80 westbound. Upon arrival on scene, units discovered a Chrysler 300 sedan had travelled from the westbound lanes of I-80, across the West El Camino Avenue on-ramp, and onto the right shoulder where it struck a tree and landed in a brush-covered gulley. The 19-year-old female driver from Woodland was the sole occupant and declared deceased by emergency personnel. No witnesses to the collision have been identified, and it is unknown exactly when this collision occurred.
