CARMICHAEL, CA (MPG) - A Carmichael resource for many years, the urgent care center at Lincoln and Manzanita avenues recently became part of the nation-wide Carbon Health Corporation.

To celebrate the rebranding, facility management hosted a ribbon-cutting with the Carmichael Chamber of Commerce.

Carmichael Honorary Mayor, neurological surgeon Dr Kawana Carter, was among professionals on the welcome wagon.

The center operates between the hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day and employs a staff of 10, including doctors, nurses, X-ray techs and medical assistants.

In addition to emergency treatment, the center is equipped to handle lab tests, X-rays, employment injuries and pre-employment physicals and drug screens.

In-person and virtual consultations are available.

“Life is full of unexpected events,” said urgent care center manager Julie Haywood. “We’re here to help when they happen.”

Patients are seen with and without appointments and most insurance is accepted.

Carbon Health is located at 4156 Manzanita Ave., Carmichael.
