Teen Tuesday: Amigurumi Crochet Workshop at the El Dorado Hills Library

Learn the basics of crochet and make your very own adorable stuffed cat! For ages 13-17.

Amigurumi (Japanese: 編みぐるみ, literally "crocheted or knitted stuffed toy") is the art of making 3D stuffed animals (and more) through crochet. Through this class, you'll learn the basic steps of crochet and make your very own adorable stuffed cat!

All supplies are provided, and no crochet experience is required.

For ages 13 to 17. In order to create a learning environment appropriate for teens, age limits will be enforced.

This program is held as part of Adventure Begins at the Library: Summer Reading Challenge 2024! This year, summer at the library is all about encouraging curiosity and exploring new things in our community through free events, performances, classes, and (of course) the reading challenge. Sign up today and start logging your reading to earn points and win prizes!

Sponsored by the Friends of the Library and Youth Executive League at the Library.
