CARMICHAEL, CA (MPG) - For comfort of audiences and performers, 2025 Carmichael Park District concerts will this year comprise a May-to-June series. The change, after 40-plus years of summer-long concerts, leaves the park stage bare in the hotter months of July and August.
The 8-event series is planned for Saturdays, kicking off at 6 p.m.
In addition, a Symphonic Band Festival will feature on Saturday May 31, and on Sunday, June 1. Seventeen volunteer community bands will present selections, from marches to jazz.
All 2025 shows are free, and dancing is encouraged. Audience donations are received during concerts. Performances are scheduled as follows:
May 3: Remedy 7
May 10: Dayna and the Cherry Kings
May 17: Maya Latin Tribute Band
May 24: Hipper than Hip
May 31: Sacramento Valley Symphonic Band Festival. (Saturday) 11am to 7 pm. June 1 - (Sunday) – 10 am to 8 pm.
June 7: Wasted Space
June 14: Fast Times
June 21: Groove Thang
June 28: Todd Morgan and the Emblems.
